Camera Access

Used to display the AR view so you can see the sun position overlaid on your camera feed. Camera images are processed in real-time on your device and are never stored, transmitted, or recorded.

Location Access

Used to calculate accurate sun positions for your specific location. Your coordinates are used for astronomical calculations on your device only. Location data is never transmitted to any server or stored beyond your current session.

Motion Sensors

Used for compass functionality and device orientation. This data is processed locally to determine which direction you're facing.

Data Storage

When you save locations within the App, this data is stored locally on your device only. We have no access to this data. If you delete the App, this data is permanently removed.

Third-Party Services

Solsite does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not share any information with third parties because we do not collect any information.

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The App is safe for users of all ages.

Offline Functionality

Solsite is designed to work completely offline. All astronomical calculations are performed on your device using built-in algorithms. No internet connection is required for core functionality.
